Photoshoots
Maternity photography is about celebrating your body, the curves and the shapes and what you are creating, ultimately capturing the bond between you and your bump.
My photography style is candid and natural, which reflects this unique journey. Each photoshoot is personalised to your lifestyle and wishes, whether that’s focused on the outdoors; the woods, the moors, the beach, at home nesting in your own space. Or if you’d like something more contemporary there is always the option to use my studio space. I offer all types of pregnancy shoot, to match your desires and of the course the time of year too.
When to Book – Life happens when it wants to, so to avoid any missed opportunities I recommend booking around 32 weeks, so you still have a nice big bump and hopefully we can book in a shoot before any early arrivals.
What to wear (and shoes) – This is as important as location, you need to feel your best whilst showing off your bump and of course be comfortable during the session, so take a few outfit changes, some comfy boots or shoes for colder days, a flowy dress and a cardigan, and if we’re on the beach, prepare to go barefoot!
How to pose – It’s an intimate experience that’s all about you, I’m here to guide you, by using light and suggesting movements and poses to capture you in the most flattering angles, but it’s ultimately about your connection with your unborn baby.
